WM Supporting People Chairs Network
Chairs from each of the Supporting People provider forums go to this meeting. The Chair has a seat at the Supporting People Regional Information Group.
Purpose of group:
o Share common issues and good practice regarding supporting people.
o Provide advice to other Chairs. Act as a lobbying group
o Work with agencies such as NHF and Sitra and CLG West Midlands Advisor.
o Make co-ordinated comments on national documents
o Look at regional & national issues and investigate impact on providers of SP services
o Improve working relationship with Regional Implementation Group (made up of SP Lead Officers)
o Share good practice amongst Lead officers
o Improve regional working and try to get some similar systems between SP teams.
